6 Amazing Last Minute Gifts on a Budget

Can you believe it’s almost Halloween already? Time is just flying by and before we know it, Christmas will be upon us.   This is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the cooler temperatures, the changing leaves, hunting (which hasn’t happened in years because I haven’t had a sitter, but oh well), and all of the fun fall places to go.  We love to visit our local pumpkin farm, cider mill, and just enjoy the changes outdoors. As the holidays approach, it’s important to keep track of all the gifts you will need so you don’t have panic over last minute gifts.

One of the things I suggested in my Stress Free Holiday post was keeping a stash of hostess or last minute gifts on hand for small quick gifts.  I really like stocking up on things when they’re on fantastic sales, or buying multiples of some of my favorite products.  These gifts are perfect for when you get invited somewhere and need a quick something for your hostess, or even for when you’re talking to a friend who surprises you with the “I got you a perfect gift” which can definitely be panic-inducing.

I can’t be the only one that gets surprised with those type of gift needs, so I love the ability to share some of my absolute favorite things with other women. Not surprisingly, these tend to be my favorite self care things.

I really hope that this gift guide will help inspire you as you’re putting together your gift list this year.  If you haven’t already made your budget sheet, you can download my free budget spreadsheet at the bottom of my Stress Free Holiday post here.

 Sheet Masks

These sheet masks from Tony Moly are ones I have talked about so many times but, giirrrrrrlllllll…. They’re mentioned so many times because they’re my absolute favorite masks.  This multi-pack is a great way to stock up, especially when you’re an avid mask user, this is a great way to keep a good stock going in your cupboard.

Some of my other favorite masks are these ones from Garnier. They’re great because I can get them from the drug store when I run out of Tony Moly ones that I love.  Sometimes you just need a moisture bomb.  This multi-pack would also be a great way to keep them on hand.

Candles

Beyond sheet masks, candles are something that is always being burned in my home.  Some of my favorite candles are Yankee Candles. I mean, who doesn’t love some good home fragrance?  Even when I started using green cleaning methods, I continued to burn candles.  I just can’t help it.

Some of my favorite scents are the fall scents.  Yankee’s Apple Pumpkin is one of my all time, ride or die, favorite scents. It is closely followed by MacIntosh Apple.  Both of these are just the perfect fragrance for fall.

Some of my other fall favorite scents are Home Sweet Home, Cinnamon Stick, or really anything apple, pumpkin, and spiced.

For Christmas, I tend to either be finishing up my fall fragrances, which I will burn year round, or I switch it up to a nice Christmas scent.  The Balsam & Cedar, or some of their other great Christmas fragrances.   I usually scope out the store to find my favorites and get them if they’re on sale.

Scrubs & Lotions

I am a sucker for a great bath scrub. I really enjoy making my own, and have a whole board dedicated to DIY Bath & Spa products on my Pinterest Page.  If I am after a certain fragrance or experience though, I love to buy them.  My favorite brand is the Tree Hut scrubs and lotions.  They have such a nice product at a reasonable price. The only reason I tend to make my own is that I go through them quickly and I can make them cheaper than I can buy it.

I have some favorite fragrances from Tree Hut, The Brazilian Nut is probably my absolute favorite fragrance.  Again, like most other things, I stock up when I find them on sale or have a coupon, and then keep them in my cupboard.  I can either use them as I need to, or I have some great last minute gifts to hand out.

Bath Bombs

I usually try to keep a few bath bombs on hand for myself to relax with, so I try to find good quality, gift sets for myself.  The best part of buying a gift set for your own use is they’re already perfectly wrapped for you to give away.  This cute little boxed set from Amazon is great, and you can’t beat the price for 12 bath bombs.

You can also find many fantastic home based brands on etsy & instagram. Doing this helps another woman out directly.  I am a huge supporter of small business and supporting those who work hard to support their family through their work.

Gifts you will have to buy

The other part to this is looking at last minute gifts you can buy on Amazon Prime, for when you have a few days notice.  These are easy gifts to just grab on Prime and not have to worry about it.  You could also get a few of these and just keep them on hand for great quick gifts.

A cute mom shirt

Amazon has so many shirts with really cute mom related sayings.  This Tired as a Mother shirt speaks to me most. I just love it.   They also have so many super cute pajama sets with different sayings.

If you’re a wine mom, you will love these cute pajamas.  There are so many different options for anything you or your friends may be interested in.  Pair it with their favorite bottle of wine or a super cute wine glass and you’ve got a winner.

Drinkware Gift Sets

For the friend who loves wine, there are so many really cute wine glasses on Amazon.  There are all kinds of sayings and even ones that you can customize with any saying.

You could even pair it with a favorite bottle of wine, wine charms, or a cute wine stopper.

A cute coffee mug full of samples packets of coffee, tea, or cocoa would also make a really cute gift.   Just find some yummy samples of her favorite drink and stick it inside.  These sorts of gifts are also great for teachers, hairdressers, and coworkers.

Sometime you need a last minute gift for a hostess gift, teacher or secret santa. There's always a reason to give a quick gift. Many of these ideas are gifts you can keep on hand, as well as some you can order quickly to give.

What is your favorite last minute gift on a budget?
